  1. As Stella said write a letter, thats what i would do, i would write a letter to each of them as they are old enough to understand now and write back, small steps first mate, just turning up on the door step could open up a hornets nest as it would be a shock to everyone and emotional especially for you. If your brother and sister want to corrispond via letter, email etc do it build up a relationship that way fiest as its not so emotional. Then maybe write to their mother explaining you have been in contact with them and you would like to see them, they might tell their mother anyway, you never know 10 years is a long time, people change and mellow over time, talk to your Dad explain things to him. Good luck bud.
  2. You got ring worm! Prob from a cat or if you been removing infected bed clothing or something, maybe from 1 of the rooms where you work?

  6. cooling system holds about 10 litres in all, i still say air lock especially if starting isnt a problem and performance is ok
  7. Air lock thats why you need to keep topping it up common prob or out exhaust if head gasket gone, dont always show up as mayo depends where gasket blown, but is performance shit?
  8. have you checked to see if there is any ECU fault codes?

  14. Train Driver, but all rail companies have different working conditions, some do 4 days on and have 3 days off and annual leave, some drivers may earn more but have banked hours so they get their overtime etc payed in advance so they are obligated to do the overtime or rest day work, it suits me the way i work. I also get 1 of the best types of pension available too. My company always taking on trainee drivers, but you would need to move down this way to be near the job :D O and i also get 5 lieu days a year to take when ever i want either in 1 go or split them
  15. 35k Basic for 36 hour week, with the ability to earn over 40k with sunday and rest day working, plus i get 2 weeks off every 8 with full pay, also time off within the 8 week period, worth its weight in gold
  16. The AIV runs the idle emissions, and helps keep the cats running cooler and working more efficiantly, removing it wont affect performance but it may cause you to fail mot on emissions though. Same with removing the carbon canister wont effect performance apart from saving a little weight, all it does is trap petrol fumes that go back into the intake by vacuum when the engine is running. But most carbon canisters dont work to their full extent anyway due to age. So basicaly no real benifit removing them apart from making a bit of space, and losing a bit of weight.
  17. mike should be able to get them for you he may have them in stock but prob have to order them so could be a bit of a wait. To be honest mate your better off joining to get the best out the club and benefit from the Traders in the Trader section, they are also members on here and may be able to help you with new or second hand parts. Its worth the £20 :)
  18. Try mike at MJP http://www.mjpauto.com but what bits do you actually want, tha bit that bolts it to the front top of wing?
  19. Happy birthday mate, have a good 1 :duffer: :duffer:
  20. Now he tells us lol. I guess you mean no compession, its possible but i've never known head gaskets to go at that extent without still having some compression reading especially on all 6 from both sides of a v6? Anyway try this manual
  21. Happy birthday mate enjoy a few :duffer: :duffer:
  22. Do you know if the previous owner has done any work on the engine, i.e cam belt, head gaskets? If he has it could be possible he has the timing 18o degrees out, it will never start if he has. Maybe worth getting in touch with him and asking him if you can
  23. beat me to it lol undo the front timing covers so you can see cam pullys get some one to turn the engine over while you look to see if they are turning, if they arnt timing belt gone, if you havent physicly seen the belt which sounds like you havnt how do you know it hasnt gone? :(
