Ok Mac ,but i cant remember it off hand but will look(got bloody hundreds of Z pics)did i mention at which show it was,might help!(got no memory,must be an age thing:eek: )

Will be going to,plus if enough going off here what about a club stand:D Best route is come off junc 15 M1,then follow A508 into A45 to Wellingborough,sign posts most of the way to Pod from Junc 15,same with junc 14 if you coming from the south :)

I wonderd what all the action was about at the crossroads just down the road from the Pod,i take it you knew i was behind you,i thought,what the fook is he doin,then it clicked,Adam,nice n cheeky of you to pass him like that:D (by the way at the Wellingborough roundabout,you turned left,with Evo,do you allways go that way,hell of a long way to get to M1:eek: )

Can understand your situation mate,i would probably recomend doing as i did,sell the Z,give yourself some breathing space,get things sorted financially and with possible house purchase etc,then when all settled get another Z,allso second time round when you go to find another Z you will have more experience/knowledge etc.At the end of the day its of course what you feel is best to do.Tony

Well mine are starting to look a little worn in places,so i'll have a pair of black ones with a "Z" logo in silver on the front about the same size as the logo on the flap in pic,cheers,great price!:D ;) Tony

Just thought i would share this with you all,its true,happend today,metionend it in a reply earlier on a PM,Had a guy come over today,who was visiting his family,had met him at Billing,my wife is interested in a car he has for sale,(looks like she will buy it next couple weeks)any way while we were talking he mentioned he had a Super bike,etc etc,and was after a GTO,having driven one recently,asked me my views them,any way i was giving it the pros and cons and metioning the 300zx (which was parked across from us)but he was not having any of it,the GTO was the dogs etc etc,so mmmmm,fancy coming out for a spin in mine then,the conclusion,"fookin hell it sticks on roundabouts"fookin hell no way did i think you would get passed all them in time"fookin hell it pushes ya back in the seat"fookin hell we doin 120 that soon","fookin hell only 10psi too",got out of Z,not another fookin word about the GTO,plenty about the Z:D

I agree with that, it is allways a risk for any car ,but would just like to add that i was talking to Colin Ashford at Billing,he is allways going up the strip,even drives from London to Scotland for a run up strip to get points for ZCub Drag Challenge,i asked him how long you been doing this with your Z,he said nearly 4 years and no problems,and i can vouch that his motor,mainly stock,sounds sweet as a nut,so maybe he very lucky or the VG30DETT is one hell of a strong motor and loves it!;)

Thats a real shame ,was looking forward to see how it got on against Rocket Ronnie,hope the bonnet was down when it went,think of all that shrapnell:eek:

Lets not forget that the Z32 came out long time before that other lot,it stayed the same up to present day,cant remember that lot having much to shout about in 1989!:D The 300zx scared the crap outa Toyota,Mitsubushi,Ford,Jaguar,etc,etc,A true Super car from Nissan,took all other manufacturers 2 years or more to bring out something that would get close to it,and even the R32 was a long way off being built,every time you see or hear," well this is faster than that,better built,better handling bla bla bla ,well maybe true,but they all were designed n built after the 300zx,mainly to compete with Nissan,who had nothing to prove by then,cos they had done it first,the Z32 has got heritage,its got classic status,it still fooks off all the rest,and its a sports car not a shopping trolley/ saloon for tesco,s,. having looked at others round Billing i came to this conclusion, Mits GTO,....all show no go lardy bolt on after thought wonder. MKIV SUPRA....Still not got the looks after all those changes,a cross bred lardy ugly mother. Skyline GTR....respect,class engine,another Nissan to crap on above, :D :D ;)

Agree with you there Nigel,but there is one advantage not mentioned,if you do track days/circuit racing etc,being straped in tight on start line engine off,a lot easier to push a starter,and if you stall while on track etc it would be easier to restart;)

Hi Nigel ,i in past have left the disc's on and just cleaned up hub area with a wire brush then some wet n dry,then i used some smooth Hamerite paint,or radiator paint,you can get them in all colours and you can get it on nice n thick,last hell of a lot longer and the dirt seems to fall off easier when washing wheels;)
