Hello mate, yeah still have the zx but it hasnt turned a wheel in 3 years now, kinda lost intrest in it to be honest, with me working overseas all the time i dont really have the time to devote to it so it will be going up for sale at some point in the very near future :/ I dont have the M5 now i traded it in last week for a 2008 M6 :punk:

The tyres my zed came with from Japan were absolutely lethal in the wet (mightve been dunlops not sure though). But even with good UK spec tyres you have to be extremely careful in the wet when driving a turbo charged car. Racelogic T/C is well worth it on these cars it costs a few bucks but if it saves you from spannering an alloy and/or some suspension parts on a kerb then it will have pretty much paid for itself and it might help prevent an even bigger off. All I can say now is thank god for BMW`s Dynamic Stability Control ;) And for everyone having a dig at stellaz yeah Ive gotta agree with them M3`s are slow ;)

I have a pre-facelift which HAS angeleyes/zenons AND alcantara headlining lol (and the 16:9 widescreen and MkIV satnav but I fitted that myself) and imho my heritage leather interior gives it a classic old skool "director of the board" look :D oh and of course Silverstone Blue is the best colour ;)

My deployment dates have changed slightly so now I cant do any date in July but June is good for me.

tbh the 5th is probably pushing it for me as I'm due to deploy to Afghan on the 11th. What is the likely length of the trip to be? If I can get a request in (to move my leave dates a few days to one side) early enough then I may still be able to make this.

You can measure the specific gravity of the electrolyte using a hydrometer, (assuming the battery is of the non-sealed type) to determine the state of charge. They only cost a couple of quid.
