Problem i've got is, i'm not sure it is the turbo! Might just be the timing, who knows! How much am i looking at to get turbos done?

After discovering a major problem with my beloved yellow sub, i have been left with no alternative! It is up for sale! So, obviously I'm looking for another! If anyone has one for sale, please please get in touch! I'm not to bothered whether its a TT or NA, would love a shorty, but not set in stone, must be a targa though, not a slick top! Bodywork doesn't have to be immaculate, but engine has to be a good en! I have a limited budget at the moment, probably stretch to £3000, after chucking so much cash at the yellow sub! Oh, its a turbo gone by the way, i think! Its misfiring slightly, although it still runs at full boost??????????? If anyone knows any different and wants to buy it, PM me with an offer! Or let me know what they think the problem is!

Can't get it down there, there's masses of oil in the pipes where the boost jets go on the left! Turbo gone? Hoping its just a pipe!

Ok, problem just got a whole lot more serious, its now misfiring like buggery and is even cutting out on me! Boost seems to be ok now, but it does det at high boost! What wrong with my car? If its serious, i'm gonna torch it!

97RON with octane booster!

1mm boost jets and a mines ecu! Fitted at ztech last week! it was fine for a few days, then started 'clicking' at full boost! Now this!

My car is running rich, is this a serious problem? It only seems to lose its boost when its warmed up!

My car has also started misfiring very slightly!

What does the det sensor look like? Its fine for about 10 minutes after i start it up, then seems to go wrong again!

My car has all of a sudden started running on safety boost! Was fine for about 100 miles up M6, then last 50 miles, started playing up! Any idea's what it could be? I've checked oil, water etc, they're all fine!

I have the roof off all the time, it saves me money in having the carpets washed! Bit of carpet shampoo, roof off, scrub to lather, then roof on and heaters full wack for 3 months to dry!

Thats a good point! They look alot like the ones i had in my rover tomcat 220 turbo! Well done that man!

Not like mine, they look like they been custom made! Definately look better than mine though, i've no padding and always worry about smashing em while they're in the boot!

Got a pulse from the gearbox, and a pulse up behind the clocks, the convertor box has been replaced and still nothing! Thinking of fitting uk spec clocks and doing away with the convertor completely!

Shouldn't be sluggish around town! Mine goes like stink and can get you into trouble, even potterin around town!

Screw the pack, unless it contains a complimentary speedo!!!!!! Would like a sticker though! External please!

I even tried the crying thing, but now i've resorted to a slightly crazy laugh!

Only problem i've had is my speedo, its been 3 weeks now and i've tried just about everything! Still doesn't work, so naturally, my Hicas doesn't work, my cruise control doesn't work, my gear changes are high, all cos a stupid needle doesn't want to move! But as annoying as it is, you have to laugh, what other car can cause so much enjoyment by tormenting you!

Good stuff, glad i'm not the only one with a good zed!
