That would be the ideal solution. Only thing is a mechanic friend of mine ran some tests on her and determined she's running high CO2 due to over fueling. However he couldn't determine whether it was a lambda sensor or one of the many temp sensors as his garage (AA) didn't have anything that would plug into the ECU. To save the hassle of changing a lambda sensor to find out its something else I thought I'd book her into Nissan as they'll have no excuse for not knowing what the prob is! So does the price seem fair?

Worse case scenario its a lambda sensor which is in the manifold, Nissan quoted me £400 inc labour. However they can't fit me in until 20th April and I'm after a quick sale so reduced her £600 if someone wants to get it sorted themselves.

Quick rundown, UK 300zx Twin turbo Auto with full service history, Needs temp sensor/lambda sensor- Get the work done yourself- £2400 buys the car, I get it done- £3000 for the car Turbos and engine are the original but are A1 apart from high CO2 due to the mentioned sensor. Sound advice, unless your insurance is paying for it stay clear of autoglass. On my old civic vti they quoted me £600 for a new screen. Local company charged me £110inc fitting!

We've got a Britax one in ours as well, got from halfords for £60. The cars seat belt holds the seat and little man in real well. Doesn't recline unfortunately.

Yeah, I think also they consider how much it would cost them to replace body panels etc so they assume all imports would be £££ to repair. Ridic seeing as the UK cars have exactly the same shell as a Jap import! Stupid really but you see why I put young drivers dream car! All my mates drive fiestas!
