  1. How’s she coming along?
  2. Going in for bodywork Monday, time to find out how bad the rust is! Haha.
  3. Not til June!, 1st available slot, no rush tho haha, she’s been sat for long enough. cheers!, will be nice getting it back in a good condition.
  4. Cheers!, didn’t realise quite how rare this things are now.
  5. She’s been booked in over at Powerzed with Jimmer, will feel a lot better once the pros have had a look over the car, so thanks very much chaps for that information. the fan clutch needs replacing, it’s extremely loud at low speeds, new one on the way. front left indicator has been fixed, loose ground wire. I have spent a good few days cleaning the car, got a chap in to give it a chemical clean as well so it’s smelling fresh again. now I have given it a good cleaning it’s pretty clear that it’s not that bad at all, only a couple of rust spots, all the wheel arches are clean. Just getting a few quotes to get that sorted out along with a machine polish. Nice to have a project on the go again!.
  6. Cheers all, appreciate the input, been a manic few weeks with work but I got the old girl out on the road today, was a great drive.
  7. IMG_3291.pdfIve owned my 1994 black, twin turbo 2+2 Manual since I was 21, that's nearly 13 years ago!, it has been sat in a rotten asbestos garage for the past 6 years. when I put the car in it was in pretty good nick, now its clear rust has started eating away, the sills have gone and the paintwork is getting worse by the day.IMG_3291.pdf I know I should be ashamed of myself for letting this classic get in such a sorry state, but as the old saying goes, life gets in the way! I have no intention of getting rid of the car, so I am trying to etch out a plan to restore the car, I know this car will be a valuable asset the more the years pass by. Looking for people who have been down this path and know good body/spray garages, 300zx specialists for the engine, also interior/ sound. all info greatly appreciated!. Also. yes when I removed the garage, I dropped it on the car lol. nice dent as well.. thankfully it didn't smash the wind shield.
