Sounds like your expansion tank for rad overflowing.Check the dip stick and syphon out excess.Also make sure the rad is topped up.

Do a system re install and clean the laser with a disk cleaner.Might sort it.

With the dust being black,I would check you dont have a belt rubbing on bottom water pipe.
