The consensus is that this routing acts as a 'cooler'. You can replace the entire route with a small square conventional cooler if you are worried, I have seen it done.

Guys, Obviously that sharp cut-out is because this is a work-in-progress.... I think we are meant to be looking only at the arch curves, above the wheel. Not a fan, (or a fan of wide-body in general) but it looks reasonable.

It's a case of heart over head, for those that love the sound.... (But doesn't that also draw subtle parallels, to all reasons why we all drive an almost 20 year old classic monster..?) The drawbacks of BOVs are well documented, but the balance can be tipped by how we each personally react to this sensory input. Personally I quite enjoy the added sound... But I can clearly see why another would detest it.

The bottom one is oldest 1989. The top one is a small revision in the first year of production 1990 (minor change). The centre one is 1992 onwards (major change). (Don't confuse Series 2 of individual parts across the vehicle, as they don't always correlate.)

What oil should I use, is unfortunately one of life's unanswerable questions! The more you ask, the more different replies you will get! :euro:

As above, screw 2 bolts alternately slowly into the two holes near the centre, it will easily prise off.

Try Tardis first.
