just out of interest how many people have got points on there DL since owning a zed :o

Non-endorsable offences - meaning those which don’t result in points on your licence - usually incur a fine of £30. (ie: driving in bus lanes, parking offences etc)

 

should of kept the letter and argued it ;) Doesnt make sense if you got the points but the letter said non endorsed

 

Thats what i thought, although the clerk wrote the points on the license when my wife went to pay the fine. I'll ask her if we still have the letter as she usually keeps all these things.

Been driving 23 years(passed my test a month and a half after my 17 birthday) had my Z for a year and a half... No points yet!!!!!

its an awairness course.

if you're cought doing35-39 in a 30, 46-50 in a 40, 57-61 in a 50, 68-72 in a 60 or 79-83 in a 70 then instead of getting points, you pay £80 and watch a couple of vids for an hour or so:D

yep I am the same,been driving since 1979 and still waiting for my DL to come back with three points after breaking speed limit in works van.

Not sure they still do the speed workshop. If you get done by a policeman you may get this option but I think if you go to court the magistrates only have the option to endorse. Although I'd be happy to be corrected.

Driving since i was 17, 3 points for driving 39mph in a 30mph limit (they'd changed the speed limit from 40 but i hadn't seen the sign) in the mini when i was 21 but on to my forth zed now and still no points :hyper:

 

I've never even been stopped apart from when i pulled over to answer the phone to say "phone me back in 30 mins" on the hard shoulder under a bridge and the police thought i was a bomber and did me for pulling over without just cause the buggers :(
