I am a big yank-car lover Allan. Something different about them. 90s stuff and older is best. 60s is top of the list. They have such road presence. I think though, as much as I dislike SUVs, I'd have one of these in jiffy! GMC Typhoon/Syclone.

Picikup version is called the Syclone and the SUV is the Typhoon

0-60 in under 5 seconds.

It's a special 4.3 (I think) V6 with a turbo, autobox and 4x4.

They made less than 5,000 in 92/93 ish

A fellow member on our Yank forum had the Typhoon.

Really quick up to 80 ish, would give many a fright !!

Wee bit like the Zed in some respects though, pricey to maintain.

Picked the Ram because I have always liked the "Big Rig" type styling, great motor with decent (for a v8) mileage and reliable.

After I get the house the way "She" wants it, definately an old 78 Bandit Trans-Am.

Alan.................

When I was looking for a Gen 4 Camaro originally, I used to use AACINT. I really struggled to get one with T-Tops, V8 and manual trans. In hindsight, I'd have just gone over to one of the dry states and gotten the best one I could and shipped it over myself.

Hindsight is a marvellous thing Si !

Few times I have said that myself !

My Camaro is being picked up by a fella called Mortin, 20.00 hrs on Monday night as he steps off the plane at Edinburgh Airport.

He is booked on the ferry at Hull at 4.30am on Tuesday morning to return home to Sweden !!!!

Even got an email from Ebay telling me I was an International Seller !:o Ooer.

Alan.........

Excellent stuff. Least the car will be on the correct road orientation. I think half the fun of owning a yank-mobile would be its left-handedness. It wouldn't be something I'd ever be bothered about. I still sit and ponder about the whole Camaro idea. I do wish I'd gone for one over the Z at times. Something so nice about the Gen4, not sure what it was. It's bulging, but swooping rear arches, slitty headlights, V8 muscle. I dunno, but I'd still have one any day of the week.

Ahah, worked it out. :)This is more my style in the off-road department. 30,000 Euros plus V.A.T. traffic jams would be a thing of the past!! 2661618368_ff0015a7a2_o.jpg

and cars in front of u by the looks :rofl:

I had a Dodge Durango V8 on hire for a few days in LA. This thing was absolutely humongous! As you can tell from here. I parked next to this little old Civic. Now I didn't choose to have an SUV, I actually handed it back very happily the next day for a Mazda 6. I don't like driving waterbeds. The Durango made for a miserable drive for the twisty highways of SoCal. I do like the look of US pickups like Allan's Ram. But I don't like the look of SUVs and I like driving them even less.

not within the white lines Si :nono::rofl::rofl:

i do like allot of the us jeeps/pick-ups though got a book called the complete ford History (all american) every car from 1903-2000 and there's a fair few 4x4's in there 2:)

It was a quick park. I'd just collected it and was nipping into the hotel to get my bags. Tis poor parking I know.
