My SWB slicktop has trims at the edge of the roof (running length ways along the car). These run into the windscreen line as a piece of trim. They seem to be ally with some kind of rubberised black coating on them. The black has started to chip away in a couple of places. This will be easy enough to touch up if need be but I wondered if they can be polished and if anyone had done it?

It's not ally its stainless steel.

New ones available from Nissan.

Come in black as standard are a pain to fit will probably need new clips think there about £100 a side from nissan.

Expensive items. Dread think of the price from Nissan UK, check with MJP.

 

They are about £250 delivered for the pair from the states, but thats becuase shipping is so expensive as they are very long items.

That wont be happening for a long, long time then. Will be touched up for now. TBH the car will be painted next winter so will probably remove them then.
