Do you remeber a few months ago some people got threatening e-mails after offering help to another member on the forum, and then we started getting e-mails from rape sites and child porn sites.

 

Well I am now sick of getting these because my children use the computer every day and my son of 14 found some of these perverted things AGAIN.

 

So can the brave CU*T who thought it might be a laugh to put others names down for this shit come forward, or are you still going to hide behind your face full of shit that you use to be nice to others when really all you are is a useless piece of cowardly perverted rotting flesh.

 

Because if and when I find out who you are, I am going to give you an enema from hell, personally made from semtex and a couple of other items that may do some serious harm to your personality department, being as that is where most of your brain lives.

 

So mister big hard excuse for a man are you going to admit to who you are or stay hidden,as per usual.

 

And as for helping others on this forum that is what I thought it was for, and YES I would still help anyone that I can, even if you threaten to take my house, please feel free to try, my ex tried and he now needs enema's everyday, because it is apparent that you are as full of shit as he was.

im not convinced it is anyone on here, ive got 2 other e-mail addreses and people on her do not know the address for these, yet i still get them too.

Before you get too carried away accusing people, you should know that due to the design of the bulletin board software all the email addresses are available to net search engines and there is software out there that goes and searches web sites for email addresse purely for the purpose of spamming. Additionally, if you have a Hotmail address you are automatically added to a publicly available directory, unless you manage to find the button that says "do not add me".

Do you think it is funny that everyone who offered help or so much as an oppinion got the same e-mails from the same sites at the same time?

 

Well tuff I know what happened, that some w*nker could not get evrything his own way and did this, and yes it was someone from on here.

 

I do accuse someone from here and they know who they are, what a shame we don't.

The majority of people on this forum are great, they help you anyway possible, have a laugh, arrange meets, put others in touch with the parts they need, help them when purchasing or breakdown, they even take the P*SS out of each other and still laugh, that is what it should be like.

 

BUT there is always 1 or 2 spoil it for everyone C*NTS and there always will be, this individual is one of those type.

Well I don't know exactly which incident you're referring to, but I do find it difficult to believe that anyone here would do that and I am most certainly not defending ANYONE who would do this. However, I just want to show how easy it is to find email addresses from any site. Just run this Google search for hotmail addresses on this site.

I have to say that the email address I used to register here is the only one that gets this foul sh*t, and I will also say it only started happening after a certain import car dealer was exposed here.

 

However alot of others get this sh*t too, they have been debating it on Radio 5 - they are going to hope to actually ban spam, for what thats worth.

 

Wendy - I have three sproglets too, and the thought that some of this crap appearing in their emails turns me into a homicidal person.

I have to agree with AndyP, I getting sick of it aswell, but I dont think its anyone on here. At least i hope not! Other than constantly changing your mail address, mailing like this will always get through eventually. Try a Spam filter like Glen suggests.

I set up a Hotmail address to use to send emails to and from Uni. All it was for is email myself work, files and that stuff.

After about 3 weeks the junk started, and now I have stopped using it because I get about 30 emails a day of junk, and thats with the filter on the highest setting.

 

 

Ok lads how all this works is like this ....

 

Just like when you buy something by mail order and make enquiries by post and also on certain databases around the countrie for buying products by mail order , you get junk mail by company's paying database holders a certain amount of money to advertise there products ,

 

This is exactly the same online, so if you enquire about something to a online shopping company eg - jungle.com or even a auto parts website , you are now open to junk mail , I myself get it but i use a program to block them so when i receive 1 email from a certain address i will never receive one from them again, im not saying it isnt anyone doing it because it could be and if it is they are very lame people who have no life . but this could be the reason lads and lasses why this is happening ,

 

I am x trading standards so i know this can be the reason ,

 

also last but not least you can also get these emails from just looking at porn sites on the quiet also if someone else is on your PC without you knowing .

I get this sh1T too. Apart from trying to respond with 2 word Emails I've now taken to setting up the filter to block mails with the words rape, lolita etc contained in the text. If this stuff originated from something here then please expose the source.

I've been getting this type of mail since God was a little lad Wendy,I really don't think it's any one on here,its just a sick fact of the perverted world we now live in.I spoke to Microsoft about it and they said there is nothing to be done.This type of mail will always find a way in no matter what steps you take to prevent it.I've just blocked another six sites tonight(animals etc.)and I dont think they were from the R.S.P.C.A.!

Now you come to mention it, I scrapped my old email addresses due to this kind of sh1t. I liked my btinternet account because I NEVER got this cr@p. However, I too suddenly started getting this stuff not so long ago - in fact when I put my address on here.... It could well be a coinsidence that someone has done a search at the particular time everyone was on that post but then again, there could well be a link...

It might be worth sending an Email to the administrator, I would be very surprised if search engines can pilfer the addresses out of this BBS or it should be possible to stop it happening.

 

It is possbile to specify search engines dont trawl this site - though they might choose to ignore this... (some coding on the front page could also be added to stop them gettin in if this site uses a Database and some scripting language - most web site spiders dont like dynamically generated pages).

 

Spam is annoying and wastes alot of time.

 

If the mail addresses cant be hidden from search engines perhaps the BBS software should be changed to another that can?

Already discussed this with Craig - can't be done right now
