The Bank of England has lowered the base intrest rate by 1.5% and Asda and Sainsburys have anounced that they will be cutting the price of patrol at their forecourts by 2 pence a liter, What next?

They reckon that petrol will soon be down to 86 - 88p a litre. Apparently with the drop in manufacturing output, and the demand to transport goods all around the world falling dramiatically, fuel usage has plummited, this is why Opec and some other Arab countries keep cutting their oil output in the hope that they can cause a shortage and force up oil prices. The problem is though, countries like Iran, Libya, Kuwait, Venezuela, Russia, rely heavily on the income from oil sales, so they are apparently upping their production to keep coining the money in.

i am seeing alot of businesses folding now and someone not long ago said they couldnt see any recession oops
