Hello All,
Just to say that this forum really works. Keeping a Z on the road by going through official channels costs a fortune, but with the help of you guy's it's a little more manageable!
I just had all new belts (inc. Cam belt) fitted, oil changed (Mobil 1) and the trottle bodies and TPS cleaned. She now purrs along, and finally ticks over at under 1500rpm!!!!
Without the suggestion of DavidP for using a mechanic in Harrow I would have been bunging Nissan UK about £800 in labour and parts. From the place in Harrow it was £230!(including 6 spark plugs!!!!)
The Z Centre were VERY helpful, I have managed to get hold of a rear bumper side relector, and a set of clear side repeaters for SENSIBLE money!
I now also have a better idea of what the hell to do with the standard Boss speaker system (bin it!)
All in all, very useful, very informative and very funny, even when people are scratching each others eyes out and gnashing teeth!
Thanks to all!!!
Cheers
Neil
