I thought about it how much is it? and is there a cheaper way even in the dry the back will not stick

better tyres, take a little pressure out of them, not that i would run around with underinflated tyres

which gears are you spinning in?

at 14 psi, with warm tires you should be able to hold full boost in 2nd and above.

reduce tyre pressure a bit. that tyre make must be a budget one? with all the salt etc they just put down all the roads are slippy and cold temps dont help much either.

I still struggle in second, the back end snakes like a b**ch, the look on peoles faces always brings a smile to my face;)

Thanks for all the advice i will go the garage today and drop the pressure to 28 psi and see if that helps but good news is i had a silly boy in a saxo last night try and race me off the lights and with wheels spinning still made him look stupid.:smash:

Whats the point of doing the work and then not having soms sideways fun my wife is allways saying its about time i grew up but 40 years old and still loving the speed

Mines an auto as well and what I do to control the spin is start relatively gently for less than a second to get it moving and then floor it.... can still get 4.9 - 5.1 seconds 0 - 60 with that approach.... oh and I'm running 17 inch with 255s on at 31 psi

Got some 18's to put on and I'll see what happens with the lower profiles....
