Anyone remember when Monster Munch were larger. I love monster munch and wasn't too bothered when they did away with the large sizes and went for the small ones.

 

But, I've just been into Sainsburys and they're selling the original sized ones. So bought a packet. They're huge and Ace!

awesome! my favourite were the hot ones in the red packets. and the pickled onion ones in the purple packets had so much flavour they felt like they were chopping your tongue up!! :rofl:

My wife buys them every week (variety pack) and no-one eats the flaming hot, i wasn't aware they had ever changed size though. Love the beef ones.

I can't stand any of the other flavours. I guess I got used to the pickled onion flavour over the years and if I eat any other flavour I isntantly want to spit it out.

We always end up with about 30-40 packs of crisps no-one eats every month always flamin hot monster munch, chilli dorito's and nice and spicey nik-naks, we always stick them in a carrier bag and give them to my mate who eats anything lol.

Do 'Highland Toffiees' still exist? For that matter can you still by 'Wham' bars too and Space Invaders?

 

3 that I used to get when I was a kid that ALL seem to have evaded inflation were Chomps, Fudge and Sherbert Fountain (I threw away the Sherbert though, YUK!). Chomps were like 10p I think, not sure if they still are. Fudge bars were 15p and still are cause I eat the feckers by the bucket load. Sherberts were 10p, but I think these are now 15p?

 

What ever happened to Tab Clear? Was there even a point to it? The irony of that was, you could never really tell it was clear as Coca Cola only seemed to sell it in a Can!

I love Chomps! Get my wife to pick up a box when she go's to Costco (think their 15p now) Sherbert Fountains used to give me really sore teeth.:(

You can still buy Mountain Dew...well, I saw it when I was in the states, but not sure if I've seen it over here. Not a drink I ever used to have.

 

I was a shop the other day and there was something else they'd brought back from the 80s. I can't remember what it was. Might have been a cerial or something.

it was advertised near me as a limited offer lol but theer still there (thankfull'y)

one thing i never see is the stuff u get inside a crunchie in actual bar form cinder toffee i think it was dubbed??

Just saw Fishermans Friends on there, they were stinking but i still bought them all the time lol.
