Ams manifolds are available at $545 just now. Obviously need to add shipping and tax to that. Still reckon the ebay ones are the best bet?

I got them ready to be fitted, until i test them for myself i duno. From sumshiftyguys build they look to be promising.

Ive have the e bay cast ones and fitted Vigneshes. They are EXACT copies of AMS ones as i have seen and fitted both. They do require a few small mods to fit such as the metal oil return pipes need bending on the turbos and the manifold heat shields need trimming and some hammering out to get round the larger diameter pipes.I wouldnt use the manifold to head gasket supplied though.Use oem ones.

cheers for the tip, il have to remember that when fitting mine.

Allo allo...I can say that I have noticed much quicker spooling but I do have the uprated tubs too (GT535s) so can't say what effect these manifolds make by themselves. I'm sure Jimmer or Jimmy can vouch for that as I imagine that'll be the only mod being carried out so they should be able to give before and after results....

What was the ebay price for the cast manifolds as all of the ebay links no longer work of course.

Does the ebay ones offer some sort of warranty?

I believe the AMS manifolds have come down in price and may be price-competitive.

Contact AMS directly to see if a price matching arrangement can be made.

BTW, are these still even listed on the UK ebay?

I see no flow tests posted on these.

Did those who bought them, buy them strictly because they looked like AMS/MSP manifolds or because of the price or a combination of both?

I would have thought most Z owners were a bit more of an educated consumer than that.

Bought on looks and price not even knowing what their potential could be, if any. There's no flow tests available, no dyno's posted, yet you guys bought them anyway???

I posted the following query to the vendor for this item.

Do you have the flow test results of this manifold?

If so, can you post in the description area of your aution the flow test results for this manifold?

Who is the manufacturer of this manifold?

Does this manifold come with a warranty?

I'm curious what sort of response will surface.

Ok bud thats fair enough.Im running these and have fitted these for other people whilst rebuilding their engines and nobodys complained yet.THEY ARE EXACT AMS COPIES as ive seen both.Ive toasted mine whenever i can and i cant say they have let me down yet and my GT525 turbos do seem to spool better.

Ive had these fitted as some of you know, i get 10psi at 3000rpm which is very good for an uprated turbo, thats pretty much close or better than how it was spooling before on stock turbos.
