MPG from a modded car ?

So what are you guys getting with your modded high BHP motors ?

ย

Obviously this vastly depends on whether you boot it all the time or drive slower (often traffic dictates this)...

ย

So any data ?? Stock TT cars do from ~18 to 25. So what's the range for high BHP (>450) cars ?

Most people have said that with the car chipped as long as you dont floor it all the time, there will be very little change in the MPG!

Just what I wanted to hear.

Cheers.

Noticed no difference apart from a big grin and pretty young girls in Nova's flashing their bits at me!

My Z is a second car so when I'm in it I tend to be thrashing it.

Before I modded it I got about 19mpg round town, now I get about 12! Still get about 25 on the motorway though.

As has been said if you drive steady then consumption is the same, floor it and the extra power has to come from somewhere!
