Is the fuel pump from the SWB jap spec the same unit as the UK car??

    so long as its a twin turbo then id say yes, i know the NA fuel pump is different though

    Not sure on what basis Clarkey has replied but the fuel tanks are in different positions on the two cars. If the fuel pump is by the tank then they could be different.

     

    Certainly worth a check.

     

    Or, Clarkey, are you sure ? Have you seen them ?

    Well job is now done.

     

    And yes the units are different . The SWB TT has a different wiring connector and also a vent line which runs between the two tank sections.

     

    The UK car is a lot simpler unit.

     

    However the actual pump unit once the assembly is stripped down is the same so with a bit of work I have dismantled both units and put them back together while swaping pump unit.

     

    Lets hope she goes OK from now on
