Does winrar not allow you to split the file u want to compress into smaller volumes ie split a file into 4 sections so u can e-mail them in 2 mails for example. Also some yahoo e-mail accounts allow u to mail 20 Mb.

I just tried with yahoo and it said i have exceeded the 10Mb limit, so i am trying it with my virgin media (blueyonder) email as that allows 20Mb but i have been having problems with virgin all day, even lost all my tv channels.

I'll try splitiing the file with winrar although i don't really know what i'm doing lol.

if the program is a setup file then the chances are its compressed quite well anyway and you wont be able to squeeze much more out of it. have you tried winzip?
