How would you know if you had aftermarket injectors?

hi doc

i am no expert but, they are colour coded. i have venom 555's which are pink:shock:

dont know the colour of stock, 370's.

u can search the web and look at pics of different sized injectors.

First thing I'd do is open the ECU to see if there's a socketed chip. If there is, I'd take a copy of it and load the image up in one of the many free tools available (such as TunerPro) and compare the fuel TP scale between a standard BIN and your one.

(I do appreciate however, that not every one has an EEPROM reader/burner to hand!)

Regards

Simon.

You cant rely on the connector colour. For example a set of Nismo 555's have purple connectors, but so do new stock 370cc connectors.

If they are brown then its a pretty good indicator of original stock 370cc injectors though.
