im soon due for an upgrade and i like the sony erricson range, i also take quite a few pics with my phone so a good camera is a must, ive seen a couple of 8 mega pixel camera phones from sony but they are those push up phones and i dont like flippy or pushy up phones, i have the 810i at the moment and i like the way it works but its a bit long in the tooth

 

anyone heard if any decent sony erricsons are due, or have any recomendations

I used to have the K800i, must say, the camera quality was amazing, but I hated the phone and the little joystick. But the photo quality was pretty good. I took these photos with it....

would like to stick with sony if i could, fancy the idea of an 8mega pixel camera, just dont like the pushy up or flippy phones

only 8 mp sony phone due out at the minuite is the c905 and it's a slide (pushy up) phone, dont think there is any other planned at the minute, on the plus side it will work almost exactly the same as what you already have as sony hardly ever change the menu.

what a shitter, looks like i may have to sacrifice

not bad when you get used to em, will have sat nav and wifi on it too.

well its been out a while and i have it the sony erricson k850i is a 5 mg pixel camera no stupid joystick and not a slider phone sounds like what you need!

I got a sony ericson and camera is unbelievable - when people look @ my pics they dont believe me when i say its a camera phone! Dont think I'll go for anything but a sony ericson from now on.

I have the new sony ericson cyber shot phone, cant remember its model, the one when the camera slides out at the top. Picture quality is great only downfall about the phone is the battery life is to great but i would recommend it as i cant fault it:D!

I used sony erricsons for a number of years and they were absolutely fantastic, loved everything about them! The ONLY reason i changed is because i use Blackberry TYPE phones now, as they are easier to use internet and email etc.... :D If i still used 'normal' phones i would deffo still be using them ;) :D
