OK guys, in 2 weeks time il be going down to pick up my car ( well the RAC will :dance:) ad was wondering if anyone knows the public transpost system ?

I need ot get from the airport to postal code RM11 3AA.

its about 35 miles away.

Taxi would only be about £30 if you pre book, otherwise airport bus to Stratford then train from Stratford back to Romford.... By the time you've paid those fares you may as well get a taxi.... Pre book a Romford Cab and get a confirmed quote.

£30 out of Stansted, you'll be lucky. It costs me £18 and I'm only 9 miles away. I would have thought getting the train would be best, or maybe a National Express coach/local bus.

Is it a weekend your picking it up? If so I can give you a lift if you like save mucking about?

It only cost me and Liz £30.00 each way when we went from from Woodford Green to Stanstead in the summer..... recon you were ripped off if yopu're 9 miles away and paid £18.00 !

 

They even waited for us in the arrivals areawith a nice card with our names on it for the £30.00...

Im thinking bout doing it next saturday, my flight would land at 5 past 8 in the morning, so would be out the airport for half 8 ish ?

If you cant do it thats fine, most people are not even awake at that time on a sat :rofl:
