Hi everyone, newbie here looking to buy his first 300 TT :nana2:

Il be looking to buy in 4 weeks time, with a budget of around 2-2.5k

Preferably after a manual, but would accept an auto at the right price and just convert it a few weeks later when the fund built up again !

 

If anyone know of something to fit this bill, as close to scotland as possible can you let me know :bow:

I noticed them, but tbh the distance is putting me off, ive travelled across the country to pick up a car before, and got there and it was a mess :slap:

It would be better to buy a members car, that way you can search on here for any history it might have but good luck with your search anyway, i'm sure you'll get a nice one:duffer:

Ive seen one in the for sale section, at £2,900. If it doesnt sell i may offer him 2.5 and see if he will take it, as it looks lovely :p

ive just found one on ebay, its in essex. needs a new autobox, but thats not a problem, and the spare cash give me money to modify :shock:

I can see ther has been alot of love and effort put into it, and i really like it :cool:

 

What is the autobox like to change on these ? as ive found one with a duff auto box, its kinda cheap, and leaves money to spare to get it all up to scratch :hyper:

LOL yeah i know mate, i was just avin a laugh with ya ;) :D

 

I could'nt tell you what its like to change mate, as i've never had to do anything that 'mechanical', but lots of people have so i would imagine its not a hard job :)

jujst never worked on an auto before, :rofl:

a manual car is easy enough, but im fooked if i have an idea about auto boxes an TC's :smash:

( learnt all my knowledge by doing, by no means im a a mech :rolleyes:)

Well i suppose if you are changing the whole box, it won't be any more difficult than changing a manual.................thats just my logic BTW, lol, i'm far from a mechanic :o

there is just more pipes and crap going to and from an auto, but tbh, i stay near a very well known tuners, and he has done work for me in the past, so wil find out how mch for him to change, saves me a couple of days on my back ( no jokes please :nono::wack:)

LOL i did the exact same thing when i first joined mate :wack: :D
