Well done to John Nukem yesterday at Santa Pod.. did you get your confirmation of that time you destroyed Colin at!?

Last I saw Colin had clocked 13.13 secs (standing 1/4), and John's rolled in at 12.something?!?

Sadly I turned up late and couldn't get a race pass.. next meet is 6th october.. but highly recommend it to anybody who didn't make this weekend.. be there early (8:00am) if you want to get a race pass though..

Chris it's worth just having a go!! It's fairly cheap, was £9 per person and somebody told me the race passes were about £20 (not sure about that though!). Santa Pod is near Northampton, just outside little village called Poddington!

 

Whilst I'm replying, John if you read this who was the guy in the purple short wheel base Z with the knackered wing and dent?

Well, I'm aiming to be there for 8:30 to join the queue for race passes so I don't miss out this time!!!

 

I'm getting new air filter bits (HKS) from Colin at some stage, but will leave off.. that way I'll be able to track it's standing 1/4 times from stock and between upgrades...

Hi Nix, sorry to diassapoint both you and me, yes I beat Colin again by 5/6 car lengths but it weren't a 12s run yet! The timing slip showed another crappy 13.5s run, it got bogged down on the start again. I can win races but the car wont crack 12s. However I checked back on previous runs with the old engine and I suppose I cant really moan. When I was running 20psi I got a 13.446s run and now I got a 13.3s run on 14.5psi. So I suppose spending the money on a new engine, recon gearbox, larger i/c's, lighter underdrive pulleys, alc, braided stainless fuel lines and decatt pipes get me a safer engine setup. At SE Nissan for it to be tuned next Thursday so maybe something extra will come out of that to get me into the 12s - FINALLY I WILL BE HAPPY.

 

Well then NOS and chasing 11s - LOL

 

Nix - the blue 300 is Mike Feeney's (MJP Autos) and is a NA (non Turbo) hence the slow times.

 

ChrisOr - where are you from mate, if North then we can meet up as I can join the M1 at either jct 24 or 18 on the 6th Oct.

nix - why not take the filter with you, and some tools.. do a couple of runs with the airbox on, then change it trackside to the filter, and do a couple of runs with that..
