Looking to get a uprated oil cooler. Does anyone have any recommendations at all? Also do these get sold as kits? ie cooler with braided oil lines etc.

Is there also any places that you would recommend that I can get these from.

I did a search on here and see that someone has used Mocal 25 row x 235 matrix oil cooler,+ mocal thermostatic flow valve set up with Braided pipes. Would this be a suitable replacement?

I other thing, my car is a Jap Import what size connections would be used?

Thanks

i got my kit for from the zcentre, you get all hoses unions etc... its a fairly straightforward job, when i did mine i had a little problem with the adapter plate needed to file the holes out abit but other than that its ok, think i paid around 120 cant remember exactly

Ive got a complete Greddy kit which came with fitting kit sandwhich plate, Braidid lines etc for about £180

Where did you get yours from Gibster?

Stick to 19row x 235mm. Any larger is overkill.

No need for themostatic valve or filter adaptor. No need to even replace any piping, just fit oil cooler in place of the small stock one and use some new 10mm High pressure oil pipe to reach from the metal oil cooler hardpipes to the slightly further away oil cooler.

Would this size be ok to use as im looking to do a few engine mods in the very near future, ie forged pistons, con rods, tubs etc.

Is there many places that you would recommened to buy them from?

Thanks
