...guess I'm a newbie.

Just got myself a '94 UK model manual Targa Twin Turbo... 60k, one owner, full history etc, and feeling pretty damn good about it... the car is simply magic (completely beasted the 2000 mile round trip the the S of France in the summer just after I got it).

Had to get a few things done in the last couple of months - cambelt, AC belt, 4 new tyres and a clutch. Already knew that these cars cost money to maintain though!

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to garages to use in/around SE London? I am using D2 in Strood currently, and they are extremely good - though not massively convenient for me to get to.

Also, wondered which companies people use for insurance...

Cheers,

Tim

Nice a 94 TT UK. Everyone will recommend some garage, trust the folks on here, they all speak from experience.

Welcome, get some pics up.

Welcome.

I'm in East London / Essex.

Insurance depends on the modifications you have. With mine becuase I have over 90 modifications to the standard, I was very limited to what insurance companies would touch me. I ended up going with Sky Insurance.

Garages, don't really know any in the area at all to be honest. Not ones that I would trust anyway. I maintain, service and repair and problems myself, much cheaper, quicker and I know I can trust me :)

Welcome to the Club Tim :)
