hi folks, i am looking to buy my first 300 and would really appreciate some gud advice. i live in rep. of ireland. what kind of things should i watch out for when buying one?? how come so many of these are chipped?? did they come very detuned from factort?? seen some lovely ones on here and few bout other places but it wile hard to get time to get over to look at them. stellaz has a beaut, thats mt knida motor, mite even copy that paint if i get one. any help and advice would be greatly appreciated guys and i look forward to my first 300.

the car has been previousely cat c (or d, not sure) and has 147000 miles on it, but has had a fortune spent on it

hi and welcome along here, there is one i seen a couple of weeks ago in dublin f/s red tt manual just in from japan lowish milage, very clean car, about 5,000euro no vrt or 7,500 inc vrt, i think it was 1992

there are some lovely cars f/s on here but dont forget the vrt its about 2,500 for up to 1994

ive had it 4 and a half years now, it had 11900 when i got it, and its my daily driver, never drink and drive, well not intentionally anyway

 

i was actually crashed into by an unisured drive, i ad just let him turn into a junction and he reversed back out and hit me

and on the ecu front most people just do it for perfomance

but jap imports are usually restricted to 112 mph from factory which an uprated ecu will remove hope this helps

Take your time to look at a few and make sure they have plenty of history and reciepts as these cars cost a fortune to run and repair.
