Has anyone ever had a rear screen supplied and fitted and paid for it? Just wondering what sort of price.

Go through insurance if you can.

 

I was quoted nearly a grand by national mobile windscreens for a new one without going through insurance when mine shattered.

 

Ended up getting a 2nd hand one from SWZ

Not insured at the moment as I've had no car to insure!! lol The garage where my car's been have got to pick up the tab as the bodyshop they used went over the bottom of the screen with a D.A :wack::headvswal

I have gotta get my windscren changed. Got the new screen sorted but need to get a quote for it to be fitted. let me know how you get on.

 

Tbh i think these people bump up the price 10 fold for insurance jobs cause they know they will get paid.

too true - I had to pay for a new screen on my 5 series... (WARNING - check the fine print when you buy insurance online!) and it went down from over £1200 "we can only fit oem screens" to about £300 when they realised I was paying for it!!

Rear screen will be a Nissan only item I reckon, unlike fronts where non OEM stuff is available.

So...... just ring your local friendly helpful Nissan main dealer and ask for a price!

Add £100 ish for labour

And probably add on the price of new trim surround too. Cos it will probably be fubared:nelson:
