A genuine 'What's it worth' thread..
Given the current financial climate.. What do you guy's think I should be asking for my 1993 TT Auto I just took in part exchange?
1993 - L Reg - Series 2.
140,000 KM.
Imported 2005 & Purchased for £5K off forecourt.
Some Japanese service history.. Last in 2004
Looks like the cambelt was last changed @88,000 KM and checked @107,000 KM
2 UK owners.
Twin Turbo Auto - Power mode auto box.
10 months MOT & TAX.
Chipped ECU (chip unknown).
HKS Boost controller.
Tein Coilover adjustable suspension alround.
Stainless steel exhausts-JASMA.
Recaro interior (good condition).
Air-con.. just re-gassed.
New injectors.
The boot has been de-spoilered, and had a rough matt black re-paint.. Needs attention. The series 2 polyurethane spoiler is included, just needs re-fitting.. Ideally, completely respray the tailgate.
Couple of strange marks on the bonnet.
Small dink on T-TOP (drivers side).
No rust evident on body panels.
Standard engine bay.
Very clean underside.
No stereo equipment included, but amp leads etc. left in.
No alarm.
An astonishingly fast zed - Seriously, it's pretty scary :)
Not sure if it's on uprated turbo's.. Haven't looked.
The pictures make the bodywork look better than it is.. There are some bumper scrapes, small cracks in the rear lights.
Slight brake judder when heavy braking, but does stop very well.
Prospect for tidying up, and making a nice little profit.. Or very good base for a wide-arch conversion/modify.
