Traction with high power zeds?

Hi,

Soon hopefully with abit of luck my engine should be fitted soon:headvswal

Im hoping for around 500 :)

With the high powered zeds on the site, I was wondering if people can tell me how the Zed copes with traction?

Do you have trouble with the wheels spinning at high speeds?

Also can you still get a good start with out sitting on the spot?

The reason im asking is because i went out in my mates evo6 which is now running 590bhp @520lbs of torque.

Being 4wd i didnt expect all four wheels to spin which they did making the car just hover all over the road like it has a mind of its own.

Im thinking the Zed being rear wheel drive its going to be alot worse and dangerous.

If I really want to I can spin my tyres on a dry day at 80mph. I use BF Goodridge profilers and I swear by them.

I don't have TC but my engine management system supports it however IMHO I do not like TC it ruins the drive.

Having all that power through 2 wheels is only as dangerous as you make it. As long as you can control the car in any given circumstance you should be fine.

ohhhh, it was gumball 3000 not gibster, nevermind getting confused, am i right in thinking you had a sig pic of a red zed at night with a green badge emblem?

Sorry for the hijack, and yeah by the way you will get problems getting traction both off the line and through gear changes, similar to the problems little 200sx get.

But... launch control will help hugely
