dont understand where you mean Al, do you mean above the radiator, as in under the bonnet?

I'm pretty sure Al means in his house :)

I can't imagine it being a good way of doing it mate.

LMFAO, i can't help but laugh, cos its bloody true, just no need for it FFS

I know it used to mess with the new flat screens but I'm sure the units have sufficient heat resistance/dissipation nowadays. HOWEVER...I'm pretty sure that sticking it above a tv will go against your insurance and warranty cover should anything go wrong.

yeah sorry people, its in the house lol, want a flat tv in the dining room and the place i want it is on the wall above the rad, and cant move the rad as there is no where to put it

you try getting a decent wall bracket that allows you to bring it off the wall easily? I got my folks a 60" last xmas and stuck it over the fireplace....worked a treat and the insurance guys said it was fine...

could maybe try putting a shelf above the rad to divert it away slightly

thats exactly how my mates is, rad, shelf then tv on wall, no probs...

I wouldnt....

Mine has been stuck near the radiator - not directly above, but the one side has warped a bit from the warmth :(

Yep, folks have theirs like that too
