I play online on Call Of Duty 4, what servers do you guys play in. I am in the United Band Of Brothers Free For All and Sniper servers and also The Metal-Headz sniper server.

I used to play too much on the pc version, but although It's miles better on PC than consoles I find its full of idiots using aimbots and wall hacks and it kind of ruined it for me.

Random servers, hardcore and normal but the servers had to be populated at 40+ players

whatever server lets me in :)

Are that aimbotters on ps3? It wont let me choose server on there.

My point here guys is I am hooked on the sniper servers either the ubbservers.com one or metal-headz.co.uk . The ip numbers are as follows:

 

Metal-Headz 193.47.83.223:28935

UBB 193.47.83.178:28933

 

These servers are not listed when u refresh the server list on starting the game, cant say why that is but its like playing on a map with a minefiled/river in the middle that u cant cross to the other side of the map which is a mirror image.

 

Its completely different to Free For All or anything else like that as thats all I used to play. There are a few other servers but they aint that busy. Metal-headz usually has 30 plus people in it up to 44 or 45 tops. As for aimbots I aint seen anyone getting 100 kills without gettin killed and usually these people are kicked. The ubb FFA servers are well policed and people post on thge website about banning the muppets who cheat.

those sound like fun servers, I'll need to give them a try, Ive just started playing CoD4 online, had the game for a year but my old machine wouldnt play it. bought another so its catch up time.

 

Still cant decide whether I prefer Cod or Battlefield yet!

Well if u give them a try and u see {ubb-6}joe-blog give me a shout lol. I am totally hooked and her indoors is going off her nut at the amount of time I am online playing lol but it could be worse I say I aint in the pub.

 

As for COD4 /Battlefield I have only ever played COD4.

lol I used to get mega grief about the amount of time I played online games, used to play counterstrike and day of defeat for whole weekends

09:00 Saturday right through to 06:00 on sunday mornings a few hours kip then back on again was pretty common for me.

 

I dont play anywhere near as much now :D

Good call lol I dont feel as bad. I have had the game for about 10 months but wouldnt play online as I didnt have anything in my mic socket so after sorting that problem I played Free For All relentlessly then I found the sniping and its went from bad to worse lol.

When u select 'join game' the page with the servers has 'new favourite' on the right hand top area of the screen. Add the ip number to it and away we go. The 2 servers ip's i gave above are not password protected.

Is it anything like ghost recon? I used to play that and quite liked it.

Dunno m8 never played it but at a guess its probably similar. Its my 1st online game and for me its awsome whether its Sniper, Free For All or any of the other servers its a fantastic game.

Guys a wee while has passed since I have started this thread has anyone tried the servers. I have seen Ossian in a few times but all he does is shoot me! Guess thats what the games all about.

I've tried but not having any joy, i input the IP to my favourites and hit refresh but nothings there. I've tried it a few times but same thing, i did log into one server but all i could do was look around, it took me 10-15 mins to realise that i had already been killed.
