Is there an alternate prog for opening/editing a ms word doc as i dont have office:confused:

there is something called open office, you can download it for free, this works with word documents

openoffice.org is where you will find it.

 

Micro$oft all provide free viewer applications for most of their document formats too, which is OK if you never need to edit the files.
