Juddering when cold

Morning!

When my Z is cold the engine judders unless you rev it a bit higher to 2500 revs and seems a bit hesitent when you put your foot down but as soon as it walmed up 5 mins into the jurney its fine.

I thought it may just need the intake manifolds cleaning out with carb cleaner as they are prob rather gunked up..................?

it could the AIVC control, it may faulty. A good cleaning may save you couple of hundred £.

Having said that, it is not ideal putting your foot down on a car that is not warmed up yet, you are not wearing out your engine, if the car is a turbo, you're are ruinning your turbo as well
