Well it's absolutely peeing it down here in Leicester, but I'm going anyway :D

I live about 15 minutes from Santa Pod and it aint stopped raining all weekend. I was going to go for the day today but I aint going to bother now. Bloody weather :smash:

I was going but zed related problems unfortunately, got a judder through the steering column after 50mph :(

got up at 6am and it was chucking it down:mad:

checked the bbc weather forecast on the pc

said rain all day:confused:

so went back to bed:rolleyes:

got up about 10am (lay-in).....bright sunshine:headvswal:headvswal:headvswal

Crap!!

 

The strip was under water so nothing doing in the 1/4 mile runs. We arrived at 10am to be met with dozens of cars actually leaving.......:nono:

 

.......stayed a couple of hours and then left. So yes you did the right thing!!

 

Still I bought a model 300zx in red for £4.99. I think I'll print up some minature versions of my number plate, stick them on and and it'll be a nice desk ornament!!!:p

Glad we never bothered to drive the 500 mile round trip, would have been well p**sed off!

I just got back in warm sunshine after leaving the pod about 5, just as it stopped raining!

 

 

I drove south from Nottingham as far as Leicester at lunch time. got a call from EdK to say it was wet at Pod too. Soooooo. I turned round.

Wet in Notts till after 2pm then it dried up and the sun came out.

Ian you should have gone to the phoenix instead,that would have made two of us lol.
