I am thinking of buying either aem, nistune or zemulator. What would the z people recommend and why?

(I need to run 2maps. One for fuel and one for e85.)

Going to have a tuningshop map the car. They recomended a ems system since i am going to run on e85 with the mods that i have done.

well, i can vouch for the AEM EMS, fantastic piece of kit. totally idiot proof and EVERYTHING is programable via your lap top but, what i will say is if you go for the AEM make sure you get the CAS disc with it or you will have problems with cam timing:)

Anyone who have experience with zemulator? It kinda seems like it does the same as AEM to half the price...

You may want to talk to john dixon he has experience of emerald engine management, I think Kirbz has knowledge of different engine management systems as well?

Mark, the CAS isssue, did you have problems first then fitted the disc or did you get it just in case?

nope, ive got problems, then ordered the disc. fitting it this weekend. apparantly every nissan CAS has a good chance of glitching with powerfull stand alone EMS's. its nothing life threatening, just seems to "hicup" once in a while

But I can't find any info about the Cas disc for the AEM that Silverbullet was talking about...

Hi Who did you get to tune your AEM.

As hopefully mine will be getting near that stage soon:o

The other problem i have is im using Tomie 260 degree cams with solid lifters and springs,so was wondering if the CAS plate would be different again?

Thanks

Steve

ryan at 2bar tuning did my mapping, fantastic bloke and is always willing to help. give him a call on 07812786303.

im pretty sure the cams wont change anything but, it is worth looking into changing the disc in any case
