Just wanted to ask people's opinions on this...I'm thinking about buying some different seats for the V8 Z and I've found a pair I like however the driver's side has some wear to the bolster. As you can see from the photo the colour has worn off completely in the worst parts. Would there be any way of sorting this out without resorting to recovering the entire seat? I'm not really clued up on this sort of thing so any advice would be appreciated (particularly as the auction for them ends tomorrow! :))

Cheers,

Leigh

defo repairable, take it to a decient upholsterers, they will just fix that part of the seat, they can usually get an identical match for the colour, i had my BMW Bolster done in black leather, only charged me 45 quid, and had the bolster on the zed done too, again 45 quid

That's encouraging to hear, cheers :) If I go for these I'd be looking at getting the rear seats re-trimmed to match, if I can afford it!

I had mine done - they took the leather from the rear of the seat, so it matches - then replaced the seat back with a close match, but you can't tell.

All for £50. and quite local to us, Tamworth!

hope this helps.
