why wouldnt you want to support someone from GB who wants to win! fed up with getting behind the tried hard/happy loser e.g. england football team.

dan.;)

Good point, England's been represented by a load of winging losers and this guy storms in giving it 110%, on the edge trying to prove that the UK still has some fight to it. Well done hamilton! :)

no dont like him.......and as for the hes doing it for england 110% hes just like beckham hes in it for the money and nothing else.....dont get me wrong im not knocking him for doing well at it but hes not here for england hes there for him....moving to switzerland only goes to further my dislike of him....every one of us pays tax and then pays to watch him be it on sky or whatever. when he stumps up his fair share just like everyone one of you has to then maybe ill change my mind but until then hes yet another mclaren drone that doesnt have half the talent senna had

Mate if i were making sh*t loads of money i'd move to Switzerland rather than let the evil government get a penny of my money so i don't blame him!

He'd be paying out half the money he makes in income tax which is an obscene amount

H can be a bit cockey now and again but he has got an amazing amount of talent. TBH I'd still support him if he was propping up the table.

WELL! he represents england, no one does anything for nothing, he is'nt the first to move to another country and wont be the last, think itv dont charge at the moment but next year its on BBC so yes, and give him a chance to walk in the shadow of senna only his second year in Formula1 sure they said same thing about senna/shumacher/prost the list can go on when they started out only time will tell, but your opinoin is yours and mines is mine.

dan.

I think I'd move to Switzerlend if it saved me £10M a year in tax !

jesus, how many of us have thought about moving abroad because this country is truly up its own arse, I know he moved for a different reason but I would of in the same boat, as for supporting him , hell yeah, why is it the british want winners to be quiet and unassuming, not to celebrate their sucess , is it we feel inadequate in comparrison so we dont want talented people to be proud of their sucess and abilities as it makes us question ours, feck it hes in his second damn season in F1 and look at the damn dodgy decisions hes had to put up with, if that was you or me wed be on the telly f'ing and c'ing , id be beating the crap out of the shites making it harder for him to win just because he his boss has a personal dissagreement with the association he competes in

The bloke is a Very talented driver:bow: And sure he is cocky, all the true greats are! And I find no fault with him moving to Switzeland, what I do fault is he is a lying cnut when he says he moved to get away from the public glare:rolleyes:

And he is a bit to sqeaky clean, Eddie Irvine was the last one with any character.

Mind you saying that the Jammy twat is Knocking it into a Pussycat Doll

I didn't even get to vote as it's now closed.

Would have voted yes anyway. Of course. He's trying for the country, be it for the money, fame or patriot. He's putting us on the map and that's the important thing.

I think he is okay but the only person any of these people represent are themselves and their team. They are in it for the money, not their country.

I voted yes. At least he actually gives it 110% in each race unlike 99% of the other drivers who just seem to go to sleep mid distance.......

The other guys who had his attitude were/are Alonso, Senna and Schumacher. We all know where their 'never give up' attitude got them ;)

Was it 12 F1 titles beteween them?

Very true, but all those I mentioned above are also very cocky.

They know they're the best of their generation.

Hamilton has grew up from 7 years old, driving karts and winning and everyone telling him he's the best and will win a F1 world championship one day.

Sooner or later you will believe what everyone is telling you, especially now he's in F1 AND leading the points for second year running.

:D :duffer:

he got good reason to believe it he is head and shoulders above all around him, if i had his talent i would be one hell of a good looking, pussycat doll snatching, multi-millionare cocky GIT! we always hate OUR winners and think the eddie the eagle edwards is far better NOT ANYMORE we want winners!:hyper:

dan.

Doll

Well he can't exactly just say it's for tax reasons can he? Come on guys, even our own polititions are avoiding tax with their London homes and second home income refurbishments! How naive are you all?

i dont particularly dislike him - hes a good driver, he wins F1 for GB, but what i like the least is all the blowing off he gets "oooh lewis hamilton is amazing, oooh lewis hamilton is god, he's faster than the stig.....yada yada yada"
