Hi All,

I know this has been covered before and there are multiple posts stating "my Zed idles all over the place" but was just wondering if there is a guide to cleaning the Idle Control Valve, i've tried searching and also had a look in the FAQ's section but can't find anything in the way of a guide.

Mine seems to sit at 750 to 850 sometimes but mainly at around 1000, sometimes it idles at 2000 and can pull up a rather steep hill in first with no feet on the pedals! Based on what i've read all points to the ICV or the little yellow connector which i think is ok (i have no idea what it is but i've cleaned the contacts anyway).

The problem i have is, i have no idea what the ICV looks like or how to find it.

Could anyone point me in the right direction please?

TIA

check your closed throttle switch which is the connector under the TPS (it comes out of the bottom of the TPS), make sure the conenctions are nice and clean as this could cause your problems ;)
