if you intend on doing more than 20 mile blasts at a time, the R6 is meant to be uncomfortable..........awesome ride but uncomfy and hard riding unless you are caneing it.

Would love the big bang R1 myself, but know i'm a little throttle happy at the best of times, thus the SV seems a winner for me right now.

Good news Murf. Stay safe bud. I am still thinking about if I should get another bike or not. My insurance company rang me today about renewing my insurance. They said I have 2 years before my NCB runs out so plenty of time yet. :D I really like the thunderace so willprobably end up with one of them?

Nah, not at all mate! I've only ever had an R6 so I can't compare it to other bikes too much, but mine certainly isn't uncomfortable, and I've done some 200 mile plus treks on it. I'm 6'3" and nearly 17 stone and I love it! Mind you, mine is a 53 plate, so I don't know if the new ones are any different.
