Nobody can either confirm nor deny that Osama is dead or alive. Al-Quaeda is far from destroyed and Spain is still suffering with ETA the Basque Seperatist movement!

 

Terrorism will never be quoshed entirely, Bush is fighting an enemy that is partially invisible and doesn't fight using conventional war methods.

Yep I nearly mentioned the fact that America sticks its big nose in where it thinks it can use rebel fighters to get back at their opposite number for the Cold War years! Russia.

 

Then wonders why it comes back and bites them in the ar$e and haunt them forever.

I feel sorry for the innocent people who lost their lives believing that their country is the best in the world etc.

did anyone catch that documentary on bbc 1 last night? what did you make of it?

I didnt see much of it, but I saw the bit when they where inside in the lobby and people where jumping. You could hear them for about 2 seconds before they hit. That was awful.

its a pity there wasnt a minutes silence for the afgans who lost their lives (and there were more civilian deaths than who dies at the twin towers) after the great tought USA bombed them to shit.

 

the USA never had any problems funding the IRA either and inviting Jerry Adams over. they are fine ones to talk.

 

So its ok (according ot the USA) for Israel to make nuclear weapons in secret, break UN rules about taking palestinian land and murder inocent people in Jenin, but Iraq must be attacked for its breaking of UN rules due to weapons inspectors. Hes just trying to finish off the job his daddy failed at.

i thought the footage was astounding but i was quite disappointed by the actual documentary. it was very obvoiusly made in the states - there was a pretty dreadful voice over by one of the firefighters and i was quite annoyed at the fact that it seemed to hint all the way through that the young fireman that the documentary was following had been killed, but then revealed the "happy" ending that he had survived. imho events like that don't really need dramatising for television. maybe i missed the point but i found that aspect of it a bit offensive

when there was mass genocide in africa i didnt hear a minutes silence for them. leave aside the fact that there was something like 10,000 innocent people dying A WEEK!

 

Those people had family and friends just like all of us. It's tragic what happened however, you only get what you give..... just a shame it happened to innocent people.

 

AND THEN..... we gget Tony "Moany" Blair going out on a limb to **** iraq over. I dont hear germany, switzerland, etc stumping up to help, WHY you ask? because there is NO "supposed" evidence as to what Saddam Hussain is really doing.

 

Funny how trigger happy George Bush is ignoring what the UN say, quote, "We will go in with or without your help".......isn't he then doing what he says Saddam is doing - ignoring UN sanctions???
