I finally got around to fitting the HID kit to the Z ........OH MY GOD, if you are thinking about this then stop thinking and do it, it is the best money i have spent on the Z, wish I had fitted these a while back when i got em

as for cost , this was a ebay kit for ยฃ50, a real bargain

I think Improving our zeds is really important to us, Road safety too is everyones concern. I am at loss as to the insurance bit though. Do we have an insurance buff on here that can give a difinitive answer

Just because it passes an mot it dosnt mean its 100% road legal.

If you have a look at your mot slip it will tell you on there.

True, the DVLA and VOSA will not really care if you have HID's or not (providing they're not affecting the headlight test in the MOT). It's the Ministry for transport and the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) that would be interested in what you're doing. The VCA are the ones that will be pissed that the E-Marking has been broken by the fitting of HID's.

But let's be honest, they're never really gonna police it are they. LOL.
