what a fookin nightmare lol, i know its not easy (done it before), but with riddick being a catch dog,its in his nature to go for your feet, ive tried all sorts to stop him, things work for a day or so then its back to the biting lol

but on a good note, at 8 weeks old he already knows to sit when commanded, pisses on his training mat, waits tilli tell him its ok before he darts over to his food

touch wood, ATM he is only chewing his toys and not the table legs lol

not bad considering ive onlyhad him 2 weeks

And their teeth are so sharp, they dam hurt!!!!

we have a dog training collar, one that gives a vibration like a tens machine, fooking brilliant especially for stubborn breeds like the mastiff

its got a 100m range too, 1-8 settings, bleep only button, shock button and stuborn button.

they learn very fast with this and do most commands on the bleep only, good for keeping them off things you dont want them to touch one shock an doesnt go near it lol

HTH

Awwwww, wrong kind of Puppies I was thinking about......LOL:rolleyes::p

We are trying to train our puppy at the moment, 16week old Boxer bitch, shes stopped chewing on the older dog and has started shredding the post instead.

Still p%*!ing in the house everyday, its really starting to wind me up, the other dog was a much quicker learner.

but its so nice when you are sitting watching tv and they come over for a cuddle and a snuggle up lol

Get some more pics up of him this weekend so we can see how he's growing.

I'm planning on getting a pup soon, wanted a Ridgeback but there is someone near me selling a 7 month Johnsons Bulldog, if its one like yours i might be interested but i don't fancy the ones with the boxer type face as i think they would be quite slabbery lol.

Its house trained too so that would be a bonus.

I had that with my Westie. Got him at 8 weeks, and almost straight away he would use the puppy pad. After a week, he would go for a walk and do his business outside no problems, but then pi55 on the floor as soon as he got back in the house.

He is 5 months old now, and has stopped it. I know how frustrating it is, but hang on in there and it will sort itself out in the end.
