Normal, cos that way i don't have to spend any money changing to electric

there isnt a electric fan on the market that can move as much air as the viscous one, lots of people have fitted a electric fan and had no issues though so it looks like japanese over engineering, if i was to fit a electric though i would fit a aftermarket rad as well

I have a Howe and an electric fan.

Having overheating issues at the moment due to a ceased rad cap, but before that never had any problems.

Same here, Howe rad and elec fan. Having heating problems but not sure of the cause yet. Will be sorting in Oct. Looking at the design of the fan, the blades for me look too flat for my liking to suck enough air. The fan on the kit i got was 14", if i'd looked into it properly i'd have gone for a 17" kenlowe fan priced at £169.91 inc Vat. Includes fan, wiring, thermal control with sensor and instructions.

p.s no i don't work for Kenlowe

electric for me and i have koyo, removed air con/rad. Couldnt get up to normal temp with standard fan. Perfect, but still not too sure on boiling hot days (not that we get many)

Oh i have 'ashspec fan & shroud'
