Well at last the day arrived for me to collect the RX7 from Southampton. What a shit day to collect it, pissed down the whole time, so all I can say is it feels real quick. The engine in these are so smooth, and the gearbox is real sweet.

 

The car sounds awesome.

Car has HKS EVC Boost controller, not touching it assume it sets correctly, and leave well alone. Blitz turbo timer, HKS boost gauge, and shift light controller.

The interior is immaculate, and the seats look like new.

 

The 17inch split rims look like new, and the rubber is YOKO's finest all round. The car shuold be ready for registration by the end of the week. If anybody wants to be first on the log book, come take a look you wont be disappointed.

how much do you want for the RX7 and would you be interested in a possible p/x with a 300zx

Nice one, I was drooling over the 7's at Trax on Sunday. Some sounded loud with big zorsts but the stock ones didn't even sound like they were running when they cruised by.

heres a questions for ya:

 

When you went and collected your car from the docks did you drive it home? cos it wont have been registered, so it wont have had a reg.plate would it??

 

Its just that i am going to pick a car up in a few weeks from tilbry and i am wondering how im going to get it home if i dont have the reg.plates.

 

Dont wanna get stopped by the coppas, they might find a reson to fine/take my car away :-(

Your allowed to drive from the port to home without plates. But be prepared to be stopped. I got stopped, but because I had the paper work with me, all was OK.

 

You can also driver the car for an MOT, and if needed SVA.

 

Timmy_Turbo - Calipers, sorry mate but the garage sold them even though I told them I had a buyer for them. I have been trying to find another pair for you, since I have been back from Hols. If a pair come up I will let you know straight away.

So long as you have the import docs' stamped at the port there isn't a whole lot the boys in blue can do..unless you have an accident. I wouldn't really worry about it.
