Great News, We had a long chat with John Fuggles (Principle JAE Organizer) on our stand last weekend. and he informed us that 2009 will see a new event...JAE NORTH. This will be a new and separate event at a location TBC in the north west. and it is in NO way an alternative event to the main JAE, just another event by the same organizers to accommodate the Northern car clubs. Our club will have a stand at Both events next year, and when I have more info, such as Location/date etc, I will post up so watch this space. :)

Regards

Kim

Yes he did say it would more than likely be in the Northwest area.

Yeha it was just one way!

And, in your auld age (:p), your eye-sight isnt failing you. I went round to spectate at the tug-of-war competition, since nobody else from our stand wanted to compete.

I was standing watching with a few of my fellow scots-people and i was approached to pull for a stand full of people from Glasgow.

So i said, Why not?

I pulled the first leg in my flip flops.......completely forgetting what was on my feet until the pull had started. Did the second pull in my bare feet!!!

I think if im gonna do it next year.........IM WEARING MY RUGBY BOOTS!!!!!!!!!! :hyper::hyper:

its about bloody time we had a decent show up north
