Today I finally said goodbye to my lovely black UK Z. After over 3 years of ownership and some big bills, I sold it to a close friend who is a mechanic so it will be taken care of but I feel a bit gutted.

I cant believe its gone, I was just not using it though and with another son soon on the way I can no longer justify having it and the lexus to the wifey. She will be driving next year and I just have to think of practicalities, we dont have the space for three cars.

I dont post that much on the forum but most days I look through the posts and I have learnt so much from some of the people on here respect to you guys this is a great forum and club. I was considering getting another Z and have been very tempted but I cant justify it just yet.

Its sad to see so many good Z's going for pennies. All I hope is that they go to people that appreciate them. They are the best car I have driven and I just love the feeling of sitting in the Z. I would like to think that sometime in the future I will have another but who knows when now.

My Z was a standard UK spec early 89-90 number 121 on chassis. Full service history tens of thousands spent just on keeping her standard. All she had extra was decat and bigger SE back boxes, having been loked after most of her time by SE nissan when they were around and she had a full leather retrim in cream with black piping. Very good solid body. Used to get so many remarks from loads of people of all ages even the odd person knocking on the door for a chat, it had no fancy spoilers etc and in my opinion just looked classy.

Anyway the Z's gone now and it does not feel right even though I did not use her much but life goes on. But what a car.
