Continuous smoking

I have a 1990 zed and it smokes in all conditions whetther it is idling, driven hard or pootling. I have taken it to garages that have suggested that it it may be the turbos and other that have told me I need a complete new engine! I live in Ilfracombe, North Devon and would appreciate some advice / the contact details of a local specialist that can provide better advice.

Aye, as jimmer said, piston rings can cause this, as well as turbo seals and valve stem seals.

My old Z smoked on rundown, turned out to be the rings and turbo seals :(

If you have a continuos smoking problem, just leave it a couple of hours in between fags! You will feel better for it!

Only kidding.
