I took the z to my local garage today, lots of tappet noise going on, looks like i need to replace some lifters, just looking to see were the best place and the cheapest place to get a set.

Would it be better just to replace the ones that have gone or just do them all.

And last of all, what sort of labour time can be expected for this job is it a big job??.

Get some Wynns Valve Lifter treatment and add it to your oil.Did the job for me and engine now purrs like a cat that just ate yer niehbours budgie.

Youll need deep pockets for lifters.Oem ones are over £500 a set.They can be refurbed yourself if you have the time.The link for doing them yourself is on here somewhere.If your doing them do all of them.Id say its about a good days work to do them or thereabouts.
